November 2011Just got back from an amazing week in Croyde staying at the lovely Sitting Pretty. Sitting Pretty is gorgeous, feels so homely and has everything you need for the family. It's a lovely short walk to the beach and the pub which is a bonus:) The owners are extremely helpful and accommodating. I would definitely strongly recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to visit Croyde. We can't wait to go back there as soon as possible!

14th February 2010We arrived to a very warm welcome. The cottage was warm, cosy and beautifully furnished which made us feel right at home, with thoughtful little extras included Fresh milk and a Warm Crusty Loaf from the local bakery.
The cottage was spotlessly clean and had everything you could wish for, from comfy beds and an exceptionally well equipped kitchen to a lovely warm comfy couch and fully fitted bathroom.
The cottage is set in the beautiful village of Croyde with its’ picturesque cottages, good pubs, and stunning beaches. But the best way to see the countryside is to put on your walking boots. There are gentle walks around the cottage to the village and beach but, for the energetic, the views from the surrounding hills are well worth the effort, giving stunning views of Croyde Bay.
We would like to thank Alan and Belinda for making our Valentines Day so unforgettable and would recommend the cottage to everyone and will definitely be making another booking.
